Introduction
St. Joseph’s College was established way back in 1882 by
French Foreign Mission Fathers with the objective of promoting higher
education. The College opened a Department of Commerce in the year 1949 which
became an independent college in 1972 in the name of St. Joseph’s College of
Commerce. The College was declared autonomous in 2004 and received the
recognition from UGC as ‘College with Potential for Excellence’ in 2010. The
College offers excellent placement assistance and attracts top-notch corporates

Programs Offered
The programs offered at St. Joseph's College are B.Com, BBA,
M.Com, P.G.D., and PGDM. The College
offers 6 different specializations in B.Com program, namely, B.Com, B.Com
Travel & Tourism, B.Com Professional, B.Com Industry Integrated, B.Com
Professional Studies, and B.Com (Analytics).

this program complete their first year of the program in St. Joseph's College

M.Com degrees offered in Finance & Taxation/Marketing
& Analytics, International Business, and Financial Analysis. A one-year,
two-semester Postgraduate Diploma as a weekend program is offered to students
and working professionals.
St. Josephs’ College of Commerce offers certificate programs
aimed at the development of skills and industry relevance in conjunction with
the academic programs. These certifications are known as Honours or Credit
Certificate programsoffering additional knowledge and competencies in specific

Postgraduate Diploma (PGDM)
St Joseph CollegeBangalore MBA refers to the two-year full-time postgraduate diploma offered
by the St. Joseph’s Institute of Management. St. Joseph College MBA or the PGDM offered through the St. Joseph's
Institute of Management is a dual specialization diploma. The students can
choose any two subjects for specialization out of the 4 subjects offered by the
Institute, namely, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
Admission Process
The UG program admission is based on an aptitude test, a
group round and a personal interview conducted by the College. Admission for
M.Com programs depends on the performance of the applicants in the entrance
test conducted by the College. The students are required to submit online
applications on the official website of the college to initiate the admission
process.
